5 comandments for spring!

hey y'all so i ahvent posted in soooooooo longgg! omg ive been insanley busy! so now that spring has arrived i think I need to set some ground rules, in my opinon, that all women should follow =)

1. Hem lengths:
    So theres a reason why we have the finger rule, if its shorter than your middle finger with your hands at your sides its too short! Our bodies are porportiobal so witht he finger rule our skirts wont look too skimpy! Second, knee length skirts are too long for later spring, I think, but cotton boho skirts with a tee shirts is perfect, covered on the bottom then bare on top and with a cross body bag, toooo cute! I think for mid spring, slightly above knee, cotton skirts are PERFECT!

2. Check your daily temp!
     OMG so this morning I parked my car and was walking up to school and there were quite a few people wearing short-shorts, mini skirts, and tank tops without sweater or tights. It was like 32 degrees this morning and the temperature hasnt changed much form this morning and its about noon right now. Yes, it's spring but its EARLY spring, its still going to be cold for a while! so unless you live somewhere where its warm right now then rock your shorts and skirts but dont if you live where its 32 degrees still.

3. Dont mix obviouse spring/summer/winter pieces
     Alot of pieces I have in my closet can be mixed into diffrent seasons but from end-early not early winter-late spring obviously im not to much of a believer of wearing only winter only in winter. One of my biggest pet peeves though is wearing Uggs with shorts or dresses or skirts. now dont get me wrong, I absolutley LOVE my Uggs shorties! its just its like a contradiction if its warm enough to be wearing a leg bearing piece of clothing its too hot  to be wearing fur lined boots! it annoys me. Another example is wearing heavy wool knit sweaters with shorts, I know it folows the rule covered on top bare on bottom or vise versa but that doesnt mean wear a winter sweater on top! lol

4. Dont show everything
    Lets face it, some women (and men) know that theyve got bodies to be proud of but that doesnt mean we want to see all of it! For women, if you wear your itty bitty kooka revealing shorts dont wear your skin tight white tee shirt! Its all about balance when dressing yourself, if you wear your kooka shorts, wear a nice flowy shirt on top that will counteract the revealingness of your uh hum "shorts". Along with the opposite way, if you wear a long flowy boho skirt in a wild print keep your top solid and more form fitting so your not so fabric-y on top.

5. Clothing for your setting
     So at my school towards the end of the year and in the last weeks before school ends my school has half days and the pool will be open. this does not mean wear your swim suit to school! lol like go home and chain, I doubt people wear their swimsuits to the workplace so for people who are still in school leave the bikini at home then go change.

Springs comiinngg! new product reviews!

Hey y'all so I got payed yesterday and made a starbucks run after school but next door there's a sally's beauty supply and Bath and Body Works so I made a little stop and both stores =) OMG I absolutley looovvveeeeeeeee the things I bought!
Here's the loot:

• China Glaze nail polish in Pink Voltage
• Wallflower bulb in Sweet pea, Pink sangria, and carribean escape
• Wallflower outlet thingy that you put the bulbs onto

OMG let me tell you this nail polish is PINK like if you were standing in the middle of Times Square you could stick your hand up and be seen from Washington DC. I love it!

The scent bulbs I got are ahmazingly springgy and summery! Sweet pea smells like the classic, Pink Sangria is a super citrusy scent with tangerine and grapfruit scents, and the carribean escape smells like a mix between a cherry lollipop and bubblegum! yummy!

Then the "port" for the wallflower is a pink hibuscus flower!

I bought everything from B&BW for $20.00! they had a special 4 for $20 on the scent bulbs and the lady included the "Port" in the deal even though it wasnt a scent bulb. Originally the port was $8.50, I got it for $5!

So get ready for spring!

Super Sexy SuperBowl!

Hey y'all! Soo the Super Bowl is 3 days! if your hosting a party or going to 1 I have a super outfit idea!  youll need a sewing machine but it will be super simple instructions to make a sexy football dress!
Materials You'll Need:

• Jersey of your fav team or Green Bay! or Steelers (Booo) that is long enough and big enough to cover your rear when gathered in the back so buy it pretty large.
• Sewing Machine
• Thread to match your color
• Laundry clips like you put on plastic chip bags
• Sharpie

Here's the steps!

1. Take your jersey and flip it inside out then put it on.
2. Have your hubby or a friend clip the sides with the plastic clips on the side so it outlines your body.
3. Have your helper trace the clips allowing an inch of fabric from where the clips end and trace with the sharpie. (dont worry its on the inside of the jersey so you wont see it!)
4. Take your jersey off and but keep it inside out and sew along the curved line that you drew with the sharpie. go over this line 2 or 3 times to ensure a snug seam.
5. trim the excess fabric on the outside of the line you sewed and flip so its right side out.
6. cut 2 triangles out of the sides on the bottom to make 2 sexy slits.

and thats it! where with jeans or Leggings and Uggs!

Rapunzel Rapunzel, let down your FoxyLocks Extensions!

OMG! hey y'all so I have recieved the bestest thing EVER! I got clip in extensions from a company called FoxyLocks Extensions, the owner, named Imogen, sells 20 inch 100% Remy Hair. Remy means at that the cuticles are still intact and grow in the same direction. They are soooo soft!! the set includes 10 wefts of clip in extensions. Each set comes in a variety of colors and in 2 weights. 120 grams and 160 grams, this means that the 120 is thinner and 160 is thicker. So many extension terms! lol The company is based out of the UK and ship internationally and run from 74.00 pound (119.86 USD) along wiht shipping I payed $137.63 because I live in the US and i got the insured shipping. They are sooo worth the  money becasue the quality is impeccable! deffinantly check out the website! they also sell false alshes too!

Music to my earrss! =)

O M G! I havent posted in sooo long! Merry very late Christmas and late Happy Holidays! I hope y'all had an awesome holiday! So I wanted to kind of veer off from the make up and stytle aspect of this blog and talk about 2 songs that I absolutley LOVE! The first one is called Paris (Ooh La La) by Grace Potter and The Nocturnals. Its soo good! Grace Potter is like a mix of old school rock and roll, girlyness, and chicness! its deff. a song if you want to be put into that bad girl vibe!
         The second song is F****** Perfect by Pink. It such an inspirational song that makes you feel like you can do anything! the video is awesome too!

Missing my bronzer...and bathing suit =(

Hey y'all! so its December =/ I hate winter the only good thing is the holidays. I'm such a summer person its nto even funny so I've been missing my bronzer becasue I thnki wearing bronzer in winter is a little silly because its supposed to warm up your skin and look tan right? so I found a solution! I'm going to really play up my cheeks and I wanted to share! lol So I bought NYC's Color Wheel of blush and its really pretty becasue it has patches of diffrent colors and I love it! so I sweep it onto the apples of my cheeks with my EcoTools Blush Brush and I take it from my apples to my ear then sweep it up and down my temple and under my jaw bone. Next, I take a shimmery white highlighter, I use Too face's Snow Bunny and try and get more of the white powder and put that on top of my cheeks, under my eye and curve it so I start about mid eye and blend it up, then I bought a darker blush that has a more richer red in it to contour and with that, I take my finger and make a fishy face and follow under it until i hit my ear and thats where I contour.

Hope this brings you out of the horrible coldness =( lol but it's almost christmas!! yay!

Hot Holiday Nails!

Hey y'all! So b4 I get started on the look, i I just wanted 2 say b a follower or leave comments! If u have any questions at all or want me to do a special post just say so! =)

So on to the look lol, I was reading my December 17 mag and they had a nail look that was a sparkley gold ombre nail but this is my twist: First off, you can do any colors you want for any holiday or just for a fun look! so first, i'm going to your 4 color as a springy look. I start with a pink glittery pink and paint it in a medium size line at the base of my nail the when its semi dry, take a SMALL amount of clear top coat and pressing into the line drag down towards the tip so the pink spreads and looks ombre! then you repeat with any other colors you would like! =) The second look it the holiday look! theres to types you can do, the first is doing the same as the above look with any holiday colors you like and do the same steps as above but then with the second color do the steps at the TIP opf the nail and brag towards the bottom of the nail so its like a cool ombre colliding look!
